Education

At Telluride Chamber Music we believe classical music can teach children many tools that will help them to thrive and achieve success in life. Not only the beauty of music itself but motivation, creativity, dedication, teamwork, and leadership are just some of the ways a music education can benefit students. Wherever possible each of our visiting artists present a workshop for the children of our region – world class inspiration in our rural community!

Telluride School Workshops

Workshops help in collaboration with Palm Kidz at the Michael D. Palm Theatre for children from the Telluride School District. These workshops attract between 150-300 children and are presented by world class visiting artists.

Partnership with Wilkinson Public Library

In 2023 we formed a new collaboration with Wilkinson Public Library, presenting summer workshops that are free and open to kids of all ages. Past performers include MusicFest artists and the New York Philharmonic Principal Brass Quintet.
